Our Humble Beginning
The dream of building a modern school that can meet international standard started with Friar Charles Chigbata, OFM Cap, Regular Superior of the Capuchin Custody of Nigeria from 2010 to 2016(with the consent of his council). Assisted by the Tuscan Province and private donors, the construction work started in 2012 and by 2016 the dream became a reality. On the 14th day of September, 2016, history was made as academic activities started in Capuchin Nursery and Primary School (CNPS) with 41 pupils spread through nursery and primary one to primary three classes, and a handful of staff. From the inception to date CNPS has been witnessing a geometric increase in pupil population, staff and facilities. The school management is continually driven by the desire to instill exceptionally sound moral and academic education as enshrined in the goal and vision of CNPS.

Our Mission
Creating an enabling environment which will help raise children who are
preeminently God fearing, but also academically relevant to contemporary society.
Jesus said, “But seek you first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well,” (Mt 6, 33).
At Capuchin Nursery and Primary School, we believe that God should come first in every noble human endeavour.
Consequently, our mission is to raise children who are not only academically sound, but pre-eminently God fearing. We affirm that love of God must express itself in the love of neighbour.
Thus our children are encouraged to see the image of God in others.
For this reason too, we cherish dearly the values of honesty, diligence, mutual acceptance and respect, compassion and the upholding of the dignity of each individual.
